Huh? Now where's my car at?
Mar. 29th, 2003 07:18 pmIt was supposedly fixed yesterday afternoon. I took Mom's borrowed truck back this morning to her, and she gave me a ride to the shop. And upon arrival, I find my car outside with the hood and trunk open and the rear seat cushion sticking out of the trunk. What the f..k gives?!?! I go inside and they tell me the new pump they installed was not working, and that they just got another in, and to come back in an hour. So we went to Wal-Mart and I got some new work boots which I needed. We went back and now they tell me that there is something else wrong, and it's not the fuel pump after all, something about the relay that operates it possibly. Now I get pissed. These guys are ASE certified and supposed to follow written procedures in service manuals. Even I know that you first check to see if there is electricity getting to the fuel pump before assuming it is bad. Now it's close to their closing time and they say they won't get a new relay in until Tuesday. So I ask, how am I supposed to get to work and such for the next few days? They hem and haw a bit, and finally give me the keys to this old Oldsmobile they use as a loaner. I tell them I do not expect to be charged for the use of the car as I was promised my own would be fixed by 4PM yesterday, and they agree. So now I get to play the waiting game again and see if the geniuses are as smart as I doubt they are. Yes, I'm a very pissed off vixen right now, and you know what that means.
