peanutsos on Friday. Went to the Zoo, Science Center, and the Galleria. Was supposed to meet with spikedpunch but he didn't show. Turns out he had to work overtime... teaches me that I really need to get a cell phone.
Later then, went over totygercowboy and spikerotty to spend the weekend. ramalion arrived shortly afterwards. I was glad peanutsos got to meet my friends. We had a fun eveing and Rama got a lot of work done for MFM
Saturday, we all spent driving here and there.. getting lots of stuff done. Even went to a strange supermarket with items from all over the world. We ended up buying some Spotted Dick...as we all wanted to try it, as well as some English candy bars that I love.
Sunday, we all really worked on more stuff for MFM... I got a couple of nice tshirts from past years as a reward for helping... and some hours credited to my volunteer time also. Later, my friendsquasiskunk showed up, along with exile17 and eddiecanis. We all hung out for a while, with the four dogs that live with TC and Spike... I left about 5:30 PM. Pretty uneventful drive home, except for some construction on I-55 near Litchfield IL. Nothing like crawling 5 miles in 30 minutes. Oh well, it was great to get away for a while. I think that soon, I will be living in St. Louis.. it's a great city, and I feel so at home there.
