(no subject)

Well, I made it into Phoenix, AZ this afternoon. Not a bad run actually, though I once again hit the 70 hour wall, so had to stop here. Arrow thinks I can still make my delivery on Friday... but with the slow speed limits in California ahead of me, and 790 miles to go yet, I wonder. Oh well, time will tell. See, I can only drive legally 11 hours in one day, and be on duty no more than 14 hours in a day, hitting either of which requires a 10 hour break off duty or in the sleeper berth. And to make it even more interesting, I can only work a total of 70 hours in 8 days, which is the wall I'm hitting now every day. I can subtract the hours from the 8th day back from my total to give me my available hours for the next day.... are you all confused yet? It took me a while to catch on to it.

I'm really psyched up that MFM will soon be here. MFM is my favorite con of all... and this year even more so because I'll be spending it with my sweetie Cloverr, and my dear dear Nikon. Lucky me! I've been alone for so long... and now I have two sweet and adorable ladies who care for me. I just hope there's enough of me to go around. *grins*

I have a question... is anyone willing and available to help me get Nikon's stuff moved from Fayetteville, AR to LaSalle, IL right before MFF in November? I'm willing to pay for your help. I just can't figure out how we are going to do it yet. One more hurdle to cross before Nikon and I can be together. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

It looks as if it will soon storm here.... which I have no idea what to expect from, as I've only been here twice before. It's hotter than blazes here too, still at 100 degrees, and fairly high humidity for this area.
