Here I am in Denver, CO, waiting to get my truck fixed again. It's been overheating rather badly up here in the mountains. I came into CO two days ago, headed over to Grand Junction with a load, and had it overheat going up to the Eisenhower tunnel, to the point that it shut down. Then yesterday, while going up to Bonanza, UT to get a load, I drove on CO 139, which has to be one of the most beautiful roads I have ever been on. Up, up and up this twisty, switchback filled road.... I wish Nikon was with me already, as she would have loved it too. Now, I ended up finally getting to Bonanza, which is the only place in the world that a mineral called Gilsonite is found, to get a load of this stuff. It looks vaguely like coal... and so did I afterwards. Can you say dirty vixen, and not in a good way? hehehe
Once they get me fixed here at the TA, I'm heading down I 25 towards Houston again... should get there sometime Sunday afternoon, and will deliver on Monday morning. Anyone want to try to hang out there again? Let me know.
