Welp, I'm home again... but not for long. *grins* Seems like the usual for me nowadays, right? Well, not this time. Tomorrow afternoon, Robert King picks me up and we are off for Anthrocon! YAY! I've really been looking forward to a furry con since MFF last year. And being away now so much, my contact with furs really is far flung. Last night, when Hartree took me back to my truck, which I had left in Effingham, IL on Sunday, RC Rabbitsfoot showed up at the Pilot just as I was getting ready to leave. He got to climb up into my cab, something he'd never done before. Not sure what he thought, but he seemed impressed. Anyfur that wants to grab a ride with me is more than welcome to do so after MFM this September, as I'll be allowed to have riders then. It's a bit cramped for sleeping quarters, but that shouldn't be a problem. Plus, you'd get to cuddle a vixen at night... and who would say no to that? *grins*

AC should be fun for me this year. No fursuit, but I'll deal with that. Caramel's construction is slowed because of my not being around, but we do plan on working on the head some this week. Maybe she'll be done for MFF, but doubtful. Definitely for MFM next year though. I'm DJing the Retro Dance at AC this year on Thursday night, so if you are going, be sure to come on down and have a dance or two. I've got some great music lined up, with a few surprises thrown in too boot. I'll be helping in the Dealer's Room also, so I can be found there during the days. Plus I'll be bopping around like normal again, so don't be afraid to say hiya to me, ok? Ok.

Not much new to report on the trucking front. Found out today that Firepup is going to school now to get his CDL. I wish him luck. Getting a CDL is easy. Driving a big rig for a living isn't quite as simple as some people seem to think. You've got to look and figure out what the other guy is doing before he knows.... survival on the road. I've had a couple close calls, and did get hit by one SUV in Lousiana a few weeks ago, but no major damage to my rig. Can't say the same for the lady's car... totalled, but again, not my fault, and not her's either. Another driver lost a load and it hit her, then she hit me. Not fun, but at least she didn't get hurt, and the other guy got nailed with 3 tickets.

I've been all over since leaving out on May 3rd. Here is a list of the states I've driven in since starting with Arrow Trucking.

Oklahoma
Missouri
Texas
New Mexico
Arizona
Lousiana
Alabama
Mississippi
Georgia
North Carolina
South Carolina
Virginia
West Virginia
Maryland
Delaware
Conneticut
Massachussets
New Hampshire
Vermont
New York
Pennsylvania
Ohio
Indiana
Illinois
Wisconsin
Kentucky
Tennessee

I think that covers them so far. Over 14,000 miles solo, plus over 3,000 miles with the trainer. That's a lot of miles in 7 weeks!

Seeya all soon, I hope, some at AC, some at MFM, some at MFF, and some out on the road.

*hugs you all*

And how much Mountain Dew have you guzzled during those trips? ;)

And when will your travels take you to Orlando? ;)

Quite a bit actually, though I've mostly switched over to GatorAid or PowerAid, as the calories in soda were getting to me. And I've got a bag of Dew caps for you... though not as many as I thought. I must have misplaced some.... sorry. I'll be bringing them to AC for you... as far as I know, you are still going, right?

I'll be in Florida when Arrow gives me a load going there... that's about all I can say about that. I go where they tell me. Forced dispatch, ya know. Looking forward to seeing you at AC. *hugs*

*murrs and nuzzles* Same here...but then again, I'm moving to an area during the AC weekend where I can easily visit other furs (and vice versa), so it still works out as good!

You didn't know? I got rid of the old vixen suit at MFF last year to fund some more important things, and Robert King and I are now working on my skunkette character, Caramel, fursuit.

Hope to see you at AC!

Yay for Trucking!

Hiya Scutterbotch. *hug*

Been a while!

Hee hee. I'm envious. There's gobs of jobs for truckers. I see them all the time in the newspaper and at the local job office. It's cool, too! I've always loved the transportation industry. Moving things from one place to another. Trucks, Planes, Ships, Trains... Heck, even Busses!

Oh and if you're ever passing through Port Huron, MI, and Murfreesbourgh, TN, be sure to tell me. I would suuuuuuure love a ride to Kiki's house!

It seems you're enjoying this trucker bit more than when you were at Cougar. And a LOT more than those mustard bottles. o.o I'm glad things are looking up for you. ^_^

Yes, so was I. The funny thing is, I barely felt it when she hit me, though I did hear the tire blow out, and saw the cloud of smoke from her car going sideways into the center median.

How's things going for you and Jerrod? Haven't heard much from you since MFF. Hoping to make it down to Nashville to see Heather soon... if I get down I-24, might be able to see you guys too.

Things aren't too bad. We've both been busy working and getting settled in Nashville. Jarrod now works in Kingston Springs, and I now work for Vanderbilt University.

If you make it this way, definitely give us a yell. We're about 20 minutes from Heather. Maybe all of us can grab food somewhere! ^^
