Well, it has been a while, hasn't it. Here we sit, again, in the main yard at Indy. Had to have a small suspected fuel leak checked out on the truck here yesterday, and it took all freaking day to get into the shop. Been ready to go since 8 AM today, still no word on a load. Since we are to be home this coming Sunday, it does tend to limit where we can go because of distance and time, but this is rediculous. Oh well.

While we are home, need to go to the storage unit and dig out the fox puppet twins for use at MFF, which could take a while. Somewhere in there is a box with them...

I have an appointment at Howard Brown on Monday at 2:30 PM too. Anyone going to be in the area after that time? I think Nikon has an appointment the same day, but since we seem to not be on speaking terms at this time...

Missing my friends. Missing being at Robert's house. Missing being away from the headache of trucking in general. It's time for a break, even if for only a few days. The next time off we'll be getting is for MFF and Turkeyday. I keep hoping my Mom will invite us down for that... probably wasting my time in hoping for this however.

What's new with the rest of you?

Blatently ripped-off from [livejournal.com profile] wildfox34 and [livejournal.com profile] shockwave77598 and many others.

"If you could meet your sixteen-year-old self now, what five things would you say?"

1. Don't let what Mom and Dad say disuade you from what you know you really are. Otherwise, you'll endure more than 20 years of pure hell before becoming the woman I am today.
2. Don't party near as much in college. Maybe you'll actualy finish this way instead of flunking out in your 3rd year.
3. Look forward to your new family and friends in the Furry Fandom, which you should start looking for long before 2001.
4. In 1996, after your first divorce, do NOT go to that stupid dating service. You'll only meet the worst thing ever to come into your life, Laura, who you'll then be dumb enough to ask to marry.
5. Don't be afraid to be yourself always. Putting on face for others at the expence of your own happiness will cause you much heartache and pain.

I turned 16 in 1982. Wow, was I pathetic then.
