The mind of a vixen.... is worried

It's been a while, hasn't it. I've been rather.... bitchy lately. This new job... is being a pain. Not like the other places I've driven for before. Almost too much hurry up and wait here for me, which is almost a 180 degree change from that last damn place. Been worried about money a lot too... we are supposed to move to IL the weekend of Anthrocon... and now, I don't see how we can afford to do it. Another couple weeks of work would do the trick... but we both have Dr. Appts. in Chicago on July 11th also, and need to be there for those too... so I guess I'm going to have to look into a short term loan for a month or something, to get the first month's rent paid. I will be able to afford the rental truck, gas, tolls, food, and such, but not the rent too. Unless some kind soul out here who reads would be willing to loan us $700 for one month, with a promise to repay promptly.

I hate being so poor. We've spent the last month basically with nothing as far as an income. This wouldn't be so bad if I was on my own, but I worry about Spectra. She deserves so much better than what I've been giving her lately. I feel like I've failed her... though she says I haven't.

And now? I'm sitting once again somewhere in southeast Michigan, waiting for a new load. And I was told we did 90% preplanned loads.... I haven't seen one yet.
