(no subject)

Well, yesterday brought a weird turn of events that I sure didn't see coming. And right now, I don't want to go into details, but will in a few days. Let's just sum it up here.

1. Pick up load in southeastern Indiana in the early AM, get the wrong load put on the truck, and had to redo it.

2. Finish up and start to head home for the weekend, get message to reroute to the terminal to swap loads and to talk about something.

3. Get informed I was being let go, to clean out truck, they would get me a bus ticket home.

4. Arrive at bus station in Dayton, Ohio 6 hours before the bus leaves.

5. Call friends and inform then of what happened. Plans are hatched to kidnap me at Morphicon for the weekend.

6. Arrive in Columbus, Ohio at 12:30am and met at bus station by Ostritch to take me to the con.

7. Given free room with Robert and Northpaw, and Robert pays for my registration.

8. Have fun with friends, miss Spectra who understands why I am here.

9. Get on bus tomorrow night and continue home.

10. Attend RCFM as planned.

11. Call a few places and hopefully start driving the week after RCFM or so.

12. Move to IL on schedule if at all possible.

I hated that job anyway. Good riddance.
