(no subject)

Hiya again from Tulsa. Today, I had to take my qualifying tests with Arrow to become a solo driver. Had to secure a load, untarp and retarp a load, take a written test, and a drive test. Took all day long. And I sweated my tail off again, as it was hotter than most anything here today.

I passed them all.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This means that as of now, I am a qualified solo driver. Now I have to wait to get a truck assignment which should come first thing in the morning. Then I have to go over all of the equipment on the truck, and go through legal to make sure all the different permits are up to date. Then I get a load assignment that hopefully takes me home for a couple days off, which I sure can use right now. Then it's back to driving for 5 weeks to get the additional time off I need for Anthrocon. I get a day off for each week I'm working. I want 7 days total for AC, and have 4 accrued now, so I can use 2 and still be set for AC. And the day I get home doesn't count off either. So it's all good at this point.
