Once more unto the breach, dear friends.
Oct. 15th, 2003 12:14 amQuick update. Some of you may or may not have noticed that I have once again gone through my friends list here on LJ. I removed quite a few names, mainly those of you I do not really know RL. Nothing against any of you out there, it's just that having so many people on my list makes me spend far too much time each day reading LJ. Now, I don't mind at all if you wish to let me know that you'd like me to add you back, just let me know. And if you wish to keep me on your lists, that is surely fine by me.
In a similar vein, I have unsubscribed to several email lists that I was previously on. Again, nothing against anyone, just too much email to keep up with. Mainly, regional lists of places I will more than likely never visit in the near future, such as NARFA and KC Furs and TN Furs. Yes, those of you on those and other lists who are friends of mine, I'll still see you on ICQ.
And speaking of ICQ... I also went through my contact list there. I found almost 100 names that quite frankly, I never hear from or speak to anymore on there.... so out they went also. I'm quite the chatty vixen... but sometimes it's just too much.
Another thing I have done recently is not gone on IRC. I never really did like IRC that much anyway... and it seems in most of the channels I did frequent... mostly drama and angst.... which are both things I really do not wish to deal with any longer. If you feel the need to chat with me, I'm still on FurryMuck, more than I have been in the recent months.
These moves by myself have been forthcoming for several weeks now, so don't worry. I'm just finding myself spending too much time online and not enough RL.
And regarding my post last night... a few of my readers seem to have jumped to a conclusion about myself and my future roommates. There is no relationship status in regards to them, I'm just going to be their new roommate at the first of the year. If anything changes in that regard, I will be the one to let you all know.
