Heya! Where have I been this weekend? Well, I've been having much fun at a friend's house in Glen Ellyn. I was invited to go to Robert King's house for the weekend along with Steve Plunkett to work on ideas for the FVS at MFF, and to also get some tips on my fursuit improvements that I want to incorporate either into my current fursuit or the one I will replace it with. Let's just say, I have a wonderful weekend for the most part.
We got to Robert's place about 9PM on Friday... I was introduced to his kids and dogs and we chatted for a few hours until Candice arrived home from her trip back to Las Vegas with her new truck. Crashed about midnight or so and had a good night's sleep. Woke up with a doggie in my face which was fine by me. I love doggies. We got moving and headed over to Woodfield Mall so I could take a look at Torrid, the new store I hear so much about that caters to the larger gal... just the place to find outfits for BSV fursuit. Well, sadly without the new improvements being done so far, nothing there seemed to work for me so we left empty handed after squicking Steve a bit with talk of lingerie and such. I learned later that day that a couple of my female furry friends want to take me shopping there in fursuit and dress me up in the future... sounds good to me! *wink wink*
After browsing the mall for a bit more, we returned home and the children were ushed away by Candice for the afternoon so that I and Robert could kind of experiment with new ideas for my fursuit. I got the chance to use Heather's corset for an hour or so.... very interesting experience. Robert also let me use the padding for his Samantha Kemple suit to see if it would work for me... and the resulting combination was enough to show me what I need to do to improve my own Butterscotch Vixen suit. So now I need to get me some foam and carve it into padding of my own. I also need to get a waist cincher corset ASAP as the one Heather loaned me is just a bit too long, though the size is almost perfect. After I got out of all of BSV's stuff, it was time for Samantha to make her appearance. Let me say, that is one awesome fursuit! Very realistic! I want to someday make my new vixen suit in the same manner.... time will tell but the creative juices are flowing.

I just know Quasi Skunk will be jealous as all heck when he sees this pic... hehehe.
Well, later on we went to Giordano's for YUMMY pizza! I love that place! Then back to Robert's for a bit to look at furry art and stuff... then we went over to Crim and Wyldekitten's place to meet their ferrets and to chat. Well, when Kitten heard that I had been using one corset, she had me into hers in a few minutes... with some struggling and some pulling... and the results were even better! And I could still breathe, believe it or not. Also had a nice chat with her about some stuff. Then back to Robert's for the night... sleep was good at that point.
Got up this morning and packed up and said sad goodbyes. Robert and Candice are some of the nicest people I know and I hope to be able to hang out with them again soon. I had mentioned to Robert that I was interested in volunteering also for MFF staff if there was a need so we shall see what comes of that. I do enjoy MFF and want to help out if at all possible there. Steve and I left there about 10 or a bit later and hit a Krispy Kreme on the way out of the Chicago area. Arrived at my place about noon, downloaded the pics he took of me and Samantha to my computer and he was gone. Now, you may have noticed earlier that I said I had a wonderful weekend for the most part... the part that I did not enjoy was Steve's at times incessant ramblings on how he dislikes certain things going on in the furry fandom and such. I guess I shouldn't let it bother me, but I really don't care to hear this same thing over and over and over again. Oh well, he's a good friend too and I know he's worried about selling his house and all... and I do enjoy spending time with him. So all in all it was a good weekend. Now I just have to survive 3 days of work... and then it's AC! Yay!!!! I can hardly wait! See you there... and if you aren't coming I will miss you. *hugs you each and every one*
