I'm at a bit of a quandry here. I guess I'm looking for some advice. You all know about my recent forced job change, being laid off and getting the new temp position. Well, after working two nights now at the new job, my back, shoulders, arms, and wrists are killing me, literally. Ibuprophen is not touching the pain. I'm lifting cast iron parts upwards of 50 lbs. from storage crates and loading them onto a moving conveyor chaint type thingy that is from 2 ft. to 5 ft. off the floor. I don't know if I can take this kind of pain though... I can hardly move today. I called Manpower, but they don't currently have any other openings right now. They said if I felt like the job was going to cause injury to me, I should give it up, they'd rather me not get hurt. Well, I'm at the point of doing just that... I do have unemployment lined up... but it's only $51 a week. I don't know what to do! I mean, I don't want to be not working... but should I keep at a job that is going to cause me to hurt myself in the meantime? What do you all think?

Reminds me a bit of a certain bat I was once mated to. I miss him too, whether he knows or even cares or not. Would be nice to hear a hello from him at some point... but I guess his life has changed for the better in the past year. Maybe a mutual friends who knows whom I'm refering to would be kind enough to pass this on to him.
