Oct. 27th, 2002 10:32 amThis weekend started out sucky, but quickly turned into a bunch of fun for me. We had a great turnout at the party Friday night, with lots of furs showing up I didn't expect to see, and lots of the local costumers as well. quasiskunk surprised me greatly by showing up an a costume of Daniel King from ASB.... I don't think I've laughed so hard in my life. There were several other great costumes there also. Too bad those outside of furry probably didn't understand why he was wearing a lion costume with a girl's cheerleader uniform.. but did he ever look cute! Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
After the party, most of us came back to the BBH to sleep.snakeskurt crashed on the floor in my room again, like he did during Archon weekend 3 weeks ago. He's a great guy to have as a friend, and I hope to see him attend more of our events here in St. Louis. Lots of other furs here also. Saturday, we all got up and when everyone else got here, drove over to the Grove Deli for really yummy lunch... I love that place. Then, we all went to the Science Center and saw the Omnimax movie "Bears" bjbuttons had arrived during our lunch and was very excited to see the movie as were a lot of us also. It was really good, and I learned a lot. After that, we wandered around the Science Center for an hour or so, then went to a local grocery store. Now, during all this, I had my fox puppet, FoxAnn, with me, and into the grocery store she went also. The checkout lady got a real kick out of her, as did several parents and kids at the Science Center. We then proceeded to have a large potluck here at the BBH, and most of us got more than a bit lit up on booze... which was good to.
Now, today, we are going to a Chinese Buffet for lunch and then going to Cheap Trx, a local alternative lifestyle store. It's a neat place... lots of different fetish wear, toys, all kinds of goodies. Then, everyone will be heading home. The next large furry gathering for us will be Midwest FurFest in Chicago Nov. 22-24. Can't wait!

Wella wella well I just got into town today, to find my girl had gone away, she took the Greyhound and left the general store.
I searched my self, I searched the town, and when I finally set down, I found myself no wiser than before.
She said that we could do no wrong, no other love could be so strong, she locked up my heart in the bottom drawer.
She took my heart, she took my keys, from in my old blue dungarees, and I'll never go to Texas anymore.
Now my baby's gone, I don't know what to do.
She took my love and walked right out the door.
But if I ever find that girl, I know one thing for sure.
I'm going to give her something like, she's never had before.
Hmmm, sounds like something Prima might enjoy too.
