My day, so far.
Aug. 17th, 2002 06:34 pmI've had a good day so far. Woke up this morning feeling great and happy for once in a long time. Jumped online and talked to a few furs on ICQ that I haven't spoken with for a while. Had plans to meet halex for lunch in Bloomington, IL, as it is on his way to Feral. His friend let me know when he was about 45 minutes from Bloomington, and I jumped in the Vixen-mobile, and arrived there 5 minutes after he did. We had a good lunch at Steak 'n Shake, and then I took him over to the local truck stop as he was looking for a new FRS radio. Didn't find any and he said he'd look at a WallyWorld down the road. Took him back to his car and hugged him goodbye. It was good to see him again. I know one of my friend's has a personal issue with him, but I don't see a problem. I know Halex has had a rough time in the past with some addictions, and I'm glad to see that he seems to have beaten them. He's never done me wrong, but then, I've only known him for 3 months or so. Maybe next year, I'll be able to attend Feral and he offered to drive me if I can. Time will tell. Came home and took a whole bunch of quizzes. I decided to post all the results in one LJ post for a change.. hehehe. Also, been teasing exile17 part of the afternoon. He's got a really good rant posted on his LJ... worth reading. The rest of the night, I'm watching cartoons, trying to decide which to take to MFM with me. Can't wait!
