Back from a weekend of fun!
Jun. 10th, 2002 01:52 amHi. A big thanks to my new friends in ARF, and those of you who attended the Howl, Growl & Purr Campout. I must admit, I didn't get to know you all, and I'm terrible with names, but please don't hold that against me. A special thanks to TygerCowboy for doing his best to make me feel welcome... he did a great job. And, an extra special thanks and a big foxie hug to Quasi Skunk for putting up with my in his Skunk Mobile for the trip down and back... Quasi, I owe you.
I had a great time... my first fur event, and my first chance to fursuit in public! Wow! I only wish it hadn't been so hot! I even played Frisbee a bit while in suit... talk about your sweaty fox.
I must also thank Grifter Wolf, who shared my tent with me. You made me feel welcome in your own way.
After meeting everyone this weekend, I hope to become more involved with the ARF furs... it's not that terribly far for me to get there, and I'm sure I can get there without bugging Quasi if I have to... but I most likely won't make it down until sometime after AC.... I so want to go to that, and my friends TigerPaw and Xanthus are going to make sure we all get to have a great time there... just not looking forward to that 18 hour drive straight thru... eeek.. did I say straight? Someone, slap me!
Yes, just in case you didn't know... I'm a gay male... I just happen to play a vixen online... don't know why... should change her into a male... but I just love the name Butterscotch!
