Why can't people do what they say they will...

Ok, so I have been sick for a few days... and have had a big project that needed done, involving taking several items to an auction for Saturday... I contact my boss, and show him what needs to be done, and expect it to be done, as he is involved equally as am I.

I awake this morning, to find it raining, and none of the stuff moved yet... and the sale is tomorrow. I have 3 choices... 1. Forget the whole thing. NOT. 2. Wait on the boss, and see if he actually does anything, after wasting all yesterday afternoon... I Don't think so. 3. Call my friends and beg/plead with them to do it, so I don't have to be out in the rain and get any sicker... They agree and take care of things for me, getting thoroughly disgusted with my boss in the process... how I hate my job... but I know it is only for another 99 days now, or less. Thanks to Charley, Kevin and Steve... you know who you are. I thank you wholeheartedly.
